Nan Khatai, the oldest cookie from India.which is almost same as 'Pecan Sandies' in United States.
Ingredients:
-1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
-1/2 cup powdered sugar
-1/4 tbsp of cardamom powder
-1 cup all purpose flour
-1/4 tbsp nut meg powder
-1 tbsp chopped pistachio
Preparation:
- Add butter and sugar in a bowl and mix it well.
- Sew the flour and add little at a time to the butter mixture. Mix well.
- The dough will be very soft. Over the dough and let it rest for 20 mins
- Pre heat hte oven on 150 c
- Grease the baking tray.
- Make small equal size balls and palce it on the the tray.
- Put the pistachio on top of it and bake it for 20-25 mins
